Biographical Information

Brad A. Miller creates conceptual public artworks that are based on scientific concepts and equipment. His art often involves an examination of common objects and traditions in our everyday life.

Miller received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1990 from the University of California, San Diego and has exhibited his work in Washington, Oregon, California, and Alaska. He has exhibited in the galleries of the Bellevue Art Museum, the Tacoma Arts Commission, the King County Cultural Development Authority, and 911 Media Arts Center.

Permanent and temporary public art commissions include projects for: Seattle's Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs; King County Arts Commission; Edmonds Arts Commission; Intercity Transit, Lacey, Washington; HorseHead International Sculpture Project, Seattle; Regional Arts and Culture Council, Portland, Oregon; and Seattle Public Utilities.
